Which player to suggest (available in germany)

hi everybody,

i recently told a friend about rockbox, and told him that the gigabeat f is probably the best player for rockbox at the momtent. now the problem is that i don't know where to get one.
Now my questions are: am i right to suggest the gigabeat (i own an h120 and i am very happy with it - is the gigabeat port as stable as the h120?). does anybody know where to get one in germany? which other players should i suggest if he can't get a gigabeat?

Get your friend onto eBay; they can be had there for very little, usually in the range of $100-$160 US dollars.

Just to make it clear, LambaCalculus379 means the USA based eBay - not a European one.

I bought mine from the US - it came all the way from Seattle Washington, and even including shipping cost me less than £100. Take advantage of that weak weak USD people!!!

I don't think most of them have local warranties. For that reason, grab an extra broken Gigabeat for spare parts if need be.

I'll second this. Gigabeat F's are very easy to do part swaps on. The + control, display, HD, etc. all can be easily removed and replaced with just some patience and a few small screwdrivers.
