JBRv2 battery and hd replacement
Shoes:
Greetings, my battery is dying and needs to be replaced on my juke box v2, was wondering if any one can point me to some diagrams/instructions on how to replace it, also thinking of upgrading the hd as 20gigs is get maxed out fast,
LambdaCalculus:
I know of one site that shows how to disassemble the Archos Jukebox Multimedia/AV120. It's not the same device, but the casing is the same as the JBRv2, so opening it should be the same.

If it still doesn't help, let us know.

You can also find many batteries on eBay and and you can search Google for PMPARAV300. They seem widely available and inexpensive.
However, before you replace the battery it might be worth it to clean the contacts on the battery and in the device. I found I didn't need to replace the battery after all. I used an eraser from a cheap promotional pen. It's more abrasive than a pencil eraser but not quite like sandpaper.
