Is there any way to do manual playlist advance?

Right now "Repeat One" just causes the player to play the same song over and over again regardless of how many songs are loaded.  When you press the Previous Track / Track Advance buttons it simply restarts the currently loaded track.

Such as the feature "Manual Playlist Advance" in WinAMP and XMMS, is there any way to set the player to repeat the same song over and over again while still retaining the ability to move forward and backwards through the playlist instead of locking the controls into restarting the same song?

There is no such feature (yet). But you should be able advancing through the playlist viewer. Haven't tried though.

bluebrother is correct. When in Repeat One mode, you can bring up the playlist through the WPS context menu (long Select or equivalent) and select any song on the list to change to.

Rockbox will then repeat the newly selected song.
