I wanted to post the file but it looks like it can't be more than 128k - can I  email the file to you (how would I get your email address?).

Thanks for your assistance.

I got the file but could not find any problems with playback.  Could you be specific about where the problem is?

dbinder:
When you start the track, it immediately starts playing a scratchy sound, on and off, for about the first 15 seconds of the track.

BTW, I just installed the latest build, r14102-070731 - same symptom.

I just used the wma codec for the first time and Im realizing how cool this firmware is.
Thanks again for the great work

Hey Everyone,
I'm new to Rockbox, but the WMA issue is huge for me.  I use my 5th-generation iPod to transcribe voice interviews captured with a digital recorder.  The files are in WMA format from the recorder, and I was hoping to be able to transfer them onto the iPod and play them with Rockbox.

From reading this thread, it seems that WMA is supported by Rockbox now.  But some posts seem to suggest it may not be supported.

Can someone tell me what the status is on WMA?

Thanks!
