Ipod Co Proccessor Use
« on: July 02, 2007, 05:45:18 PM »
With the recent changes to the CPU drivers I was looking in Debug at the OS Stacks it Would Appear that there is only somethig called main that is runing on the second core and then at oly 4%.
If I remember Correctly in the days of the Co Proccessor Patch The Audio Codec was also on the second core when did it change?

Quite a long time ago, because the coprocessor code wasn't actually working properly, despite what that screen said.

Is there a way to make the coprocessor work more so the main one isn't as used?

Sorta, i'm not really good at putting my thoughts out. (my brain needes to defrag for a while). If there's a guide or some kind of a tip for multitasking, multithreading, and coprocessors, i can attempt to make a speedup. I'm still learning C, but i'm good at reading stuff.
