I found that when I browse the database I can't read file names, albums, etc. unless ithey are in English.
I have some songs downloaded to Sansa (iPod has same problem too) using its original software. Tags in MP3s are in Russian and the original firmware displays them correctly.
But when I initialize the database from Rockbox it does not display the proper cyrillic symbols for such files in the lists sorted by any order. English words are displayed OK.
At the same time when I browse the directories that were directly copied to the player and contain the files with cyrillic letters they are displayed properly.
Also, when I play the files with ID info in Russian it's displayed OK while playing. Even if I selected the file from the database list.
I set the default codepage to CP-1251, I set theme as "unicatcher", selected the font with unicode support - none of this helped.
How to make the database lists display cyrillic? Is there any additional setting I need to set?
