Audioscrobbler and corrupt characters

(1/1)

cal:
I use Logscrobbler 0.14 to submit my played tracks but everytime there's a non-English character, the submitted character looks corrupted, like this:

Rodrigo Leão – La Fête should be Rodrigo Leão - La Fête

Is there a way to fix this, or am I doing something wrong?

obo:
Are the submitted tracks showing up like that on your Last.fm page?  Those corrupt characters are infact an encoding system called UTF-8, which uses 2 or more characters to display extended characters.  Both Rockbox and Last.fm use UTF-8, so it maybe that it's just the LogScrobbler application displaying the information incorrectly.

Both QTScrobbler and Rockscrobble deal with UTF-8 characters properly.

Thanks!!
