How do I get my music from iTunes into my Rockbox iPod nano?

Ok. I have an iPod nano 1st generation that's running a "current build" version of rockbox that's up to date.

I noticed that my iTunes songs we'rent on it..So I plugged it and and let it sync and i unplugged it. They still were not on my song list!

Im new to rockbox and I was wondering, is there a different method of getting your iTunes songs into you're rockbox ipod?

Please read the manual.  It explains how to view songs that you loaded via iTunes by using the Rockbox database.

Alternately, you can simply drag and drop music onto the player.

Use the database... after you sync your iPod you gotta goto settings>general settings>database>initialize now... then itll think for a while... then you gotta restart ur iPod... then on the main menu, you goto Database, and itll have all your music nicely sorted!
