Lord Sloth:
Hi, i installed rockbox on my 30gb 5.5G video and now i cant go into ipod linux i tried holding center +menu and then switching the hold button but it only takes me to apple os and not boot menu. in apple os i tried doing the same holding menu + center button and it boots into rockbox.... how can i fix this? thanks in advance.

GodEater:
The Rockbox bootloader does not include a menu - which is why you can't see one.

It does however include a basic option to load ipodLinux, simply press and hold "Play" while your iPod is starting. Note that this is a less flexible option for loading iPL than using Loader2, since you cannot pass any kernel arguments this way.

bluebrother:
as far as I know, you also need to have a file "kernel.bin" on the root of the FAT32 partition for the Rockbox bootloader to boot IPL. But it works fine ;-)

GodEater:
Good call - I forgot that!

obo:
Except it's called "linux.bin" :)
