hey i was wondering if anyone would take the time to explain it to me over msn or somthing as when i install the rockbox then press i followed by enter the box closes and nothing pops up like it should and i have read the manual 100s of times

Please explain exactly what you have done, which bit of the manual you have trouble with etc.

Why does it sound like he's trying to run ipodpatcher by just double clicking it in Windows Explorer, as opposed to actually starting a Command Prompt session like it says in the manual and running it from there?

Febs and BigBambi, doesn't it make it plain as day in the manual and everywhere else that these tools have to be run from the Command Prompt/Terminal/? I swear, kids these days...
