Toshiba installation problem

I did my homework, read everything completely before I started, and I have reviewed all the threads dealing with installation. i get loading firmware file not found. After reading the wiki, the only thing that doesnt match is the fact that i don't have a X:\.rockbox\rockbox.gigabeat folder . I have tried 10 times from scratch but that folder doesnt exist. Any help would be appreciated. every other file is where its supposed to be.

rockbox.gigabeat is a file, not a folder.  Make sure you extract the daily build to the root of your drive.

Confirm Installation:

    * There must be a directory in the root named .rockbox: X:\.rockbox (note the period)
    * There must be a file in that directory named rockbox.gigabeat: X:\.rockbox\rockbox.gigabeat (note the period). The older location of root still works as well: X:\rockbox.gigabeat, but when you update using rockbox.zip only the newer location of X:\.rockbox\rockbox.gigabeat is updated.
