CounterStrike wad error

I put the counterstrike wad in my addons folder and it runs script for 5 seconds, the clears script, runs it again then it goes back to the plugin menu. Any idear how to fix this?

I assume your talking about Doom, right?  I think counterstrike.wad is an addon for Doom2.  Make sure you have that selected as the game before you choose the addon.

So i need doom two, not just doom? I selected counterstrike.wad before i played also.
