sansa e250 broken clock?

is it just me or does anyone elses sansa e200 series MP3 player's clock not work? like, you can set it to the current time and date and confirm it -- yet it never moves. not even a second. i'm assuming this is a hardware problem since it happens in the default firmware along with rockbox -- so i've emailed sandisk about it, but so far I haven't gotten an answer.

can anyone help?

Clock works fine here (e280), so i suspect you have a faulty unit.
