iPod 80g skipping the first track and playing the second

Just as the subject says, more than not, it will skip the first track in an album and start playing the second track.  Anyone have any thoughts?

How are you selecting the album (File browser or Database), are your files tagged, what is your file naming structure, what is more often than not (always on a particular album or apparently randomly), are you too impatient when selecting tracks if the interface is a bit laggy, etc, etc...

I have the same problem, my tracks are loaded via iTunes and I made a database, I have crossfeed on if it matters, and I am on an 80GB too.
