new ipod 5g owner: theme dark-geek not loading right
« on: June 23, 2007, 07:38:21 AM »
Hello all ipod rockbox users  8-)

I am having a bit of a problem with this beautiful theme. First I reset my settings then I loaded the theme. But there was no change at all. I have tryed others like ubuntu, BlurPod and DockPod_Aqua and they all worked fine.

Does this theme need something else to work right? There is nothing mentioned in the theme info here at rockbox theme gallery, so I am a bit lost and any help is greatly appreciated.

I just tried it in the Sim again and it worked fine...  Have you installed the Fonts pack - this theme uses the clR6x8-8859-2 font, and it is not included in the theme zip...

You can get the fonts from here: http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/RockboxExtras

Whether or not the fonts pack is installed shouldnt make a difference in if he sees changes. If nothing changes that means that you have either not placed the files (backdrops, wps, icons etc.) in their proper folders, or the .cfg file is not specifying correctly where to find these.
