Screen Goes Black when trying to view MPEG on Sansa e200

Crazy:
I've download MediaCoder and converted my files into mpeg, but when i try to play them on my e200 the screen goes blank and it does not respond. any suggestions.

If you're going to post here you need to verify that this also occurs with a normal build.  Otherwise you can bring this up in the thread for that particular build.

That being said, this behavior often happens due to incorrect parameters being used in transcoding.

Please refrain from posting problems on unofficial builds here unless you have verified that the current build have the same problem. You can either repost to my thread on this site:

However, I can tell you I have no problems with mpeg videos.

I know I shouldn't post here but the sample video works so I'm guess its the coder I'm using. What coder have you guys been using or what one works really well?

Nevermind everyone i solved it myself, it was the coder I was using. I tried VLC and worked like a charm (the fps is a bit laggy though)
