Since you appear not to have followed ANY of the step-by-step instructions that I wrote for you, I can't help you further.

You do NOT need to open anything, select all, or cut and paste.  RIGHT-CLICK on the presets.xml link and then do what I described in my last post.

Chronon:
I feel your pain, Febs.

He said multiple times just to save it to the right directory.  It will ask if you want to overwrite the existing presets.xml file (and you should say yes).  There's no opening the files and cutting and pasting involved in anything that he said.

All you're doing is replacing one file on your computer with another one that's posted in the wiki.  If you can't manage to do that then I doubt that any of us will have much success in guiding you through this remotely.

nofear505:
ok, i followed your and the wiki pages directions and my resualt had been the same. when i add the new preset file in replace of the old this happens.
when i try to start winff it says i have errors and cant open. before, when the preset file wasnt changed it worked fine.

Chronon:
Apparently something must have gotten mucked up in the presets file then.  How did you save the file?

mschneider:
Just re-install WinFF. Don't bother replacing the presets file because i dont think that you will be able to. You just need to convert all your files to Mpeg 2, and define everything else.
