where do i get mpeg?

i've been looking on the internet for a while to try and find a place where i can get mpeg video. i need it so i can play videos on my  ipod nano. if you have a link of where to go i would be greatful. the mpeg website doesnt have a downloader. also, if theres a converter i could get to change it to mpeg that woud work to.

Read the section entitled, "How to encode files."

ok, got it now, where do i change the .xml thing?

did you read #2 in "using WinFF"? If you just installed it and did not make any modifications it is clearly stated there.

yes, but where is that file, how do i get to it?

The path of the original presets file is specified in parenthises. The new .xml file is linked in blue text at the end of the line. just replace that original with that one.

i dont know how to get to the file i need to change. i looked it up in my computer;s search but it opened in internet explore so i couldnt change it.

You dont open the file, you simply delete the original. Go to the wiki page, right click and save as the new file and replace it where the original file was.

ok but how do i delete/find this file. i know were the one is i have to replace it with but how? i cant delete it because it runs in internet explore.
