Do I have to 'make' everything

Just a couple of questions.  I am trying to streamline my process.

Can I get rid of plugins and some other stuff when I 'make', or will that mess up the build.

Also, when I put the new firmware onto the unit, do I need to put the whole .rockbox folder, or is copying just the rockbox.mi4 good enough?

you can do 'make bin'. This doesn't compile the plugins (and maybe the codecs)

If you haven't changed header files that are used in codecs and plugins then it is enough to just copy the rockbox.xxx file (and you don't have to run 'make zip' in this case).

You can also remove certain plugins by going to apps/plugins and opening sources. From there you can edit whatever you want in terms of plugin inclusion.
