Song help
« on: June 20, 2007, 05:36:47 AM »
Here is the situation
30 gb ipod video with a horridly cracked screen that has only black lines. So in essence I am flying blind.

Got the system installed and the voice bit too. Got it up and running. The voice speaks and tells me four options

12 hour clock
Contrast
Shuffle
Play Selected File

I get nothing :( theres a music folder on the beast that is just the mp3s untouched by itunes.

So I need a little help figuring out how to put music on and I am getting a tad frustrated ((sorry, I don't tend to screw with firmware and what not. Just not my style)) trying to make heads and tales out of the results I found.

And to confirm music does run on the original firmware. I made sure it wasn't a brick.

I am not a computer hacker, just an accountant :P with a busted Ipod and much appreciation to any who lends me a hand.
