phkVH theme remodeled (Van Halen tribute theme)

I am revising my WPS themes and making some modifications, where I was unhappy.
The first one is phkVH.

Now, there's a new layout screen; I remade some icons too; And when in
pause, the track time info flashs.

That's all. I hope you like the new version. The old version is dead now.

Cool, I like it. :)  Not as big of a VH fan as I used to be (primarily since they haven't released any new material of consequence in almost 10 years) but this is a pretty sweet theme.

I'm a Van Halen fan just from the Dave's era (1978~1984). What this guys did are the most impressive music I ever heard in my life. After this, Van Halen never sounded the same.  :(

They didn't sound the same, but I still like some of the Sammy stuff a lot.  While I prefer the Dave era for its attitude, Balance is my favorite VH album from a musical standpoint, I think it was their most mature and developed album musically.  

I don't like saying one is better than the other; they were two different bands with two different goals...Dave was about partying and attitude through music, and Sammy's stuff was more melodic and the songs a bit more complex and intricate musically.  I think it's silly to compare them the way everyone seems to.

Yes, I totally agree with this. They were two totally different bands. Not just a change of vocalists, but the band also became different.  

I saw them live at the Budokan - Japan, on the last show of the Balance Tour, and I went back to my home "depressed".  

And last year I saw Dave L R live. Man, Dave's show is more "Van Halen" than the Van Halen one. For my taste.

Dave is back now in VH, but Eddie is rehabilitating himself from some problems. And Michael is out. Let's wait for the back.
