Charging thru PC/MAC and playing tracks?

Umm, sorry im noob in rockbox, well i have searched for issue, found one, "hold menu vile plugging the cable" ok, i did, as soon as i release menu it starts to charge in disk mode =(( Am i doing something wrong? "iPOD 5.5G 80GB"

Keep the menu button held down for a good 10 seconds or so after you've plugged the cable in.

As well i held it for even half a minute, just as soon i release menu it goes to disk mode =(( maybe some of the settings are responsible for that? Any help?

oh by the way, it works only with playback or i cant scrolljust need to go straight to playback? well anyways it reacts differently, sometimes it goes to disk mode right away, sometimes it takes for  like 10 seconds ... what could be wrong?

I tryed to turn on that two modes car mode and some other mode sepperetly and together nothing helps, it still goes to disk mode =(( So what should i do?

Logically i tyed everything that i could gues off, but nothing helps me solve the problem =( Any ideas?

I've never tried this from car mode - so can't comment. What other mode do you mean ?

Charge during USB connection, well i understand that it's not that but stil tryed =)
So what should i do? I hold menu for 10 secs or even more, after i try to scroll to playback and it starts Disk Mode, not always right away, sometimes i\m able to get to playback and start playing music, but little bit later it turns Disk Mode, so what should i do to connect to PC and listen to music or whatever, Holding down Menu doesn't helps =(

wile playing? it goes some kind of menu with 3 direction arrows, shufle on, reapeat all and supported file format ...

build from today? I just installed first time yeterday =) I'm gona try now.

Can't try wright now, im working on mac it dosent see hidden folder, ok sanks i\l try as soon as i\m gona get home and then post did it solved the problem. Sanks again =)

Ok, i don't get it ... It worked fine ... Now it started again ... I didn't change anything just today it started again doing the same^ but for now the time is 15 seconds exactly i counted and it doesn't meter how long do i hold menu, if i hold more than 15 seconds just whenever i release menu it reboots to disk mode ....

So any guesses ? how can i fix this problem?   It pisses me off .. Maybe developers of rockbox could insert some kind of setting that forbids exiting to disk mode? that would be awesome ...
