One of the USB devices attatched to this computer has malfunctioned is the message.

I've tried to use two different usb wires and nothing works. It was just fine yesterday. Is there any rockbox issues that caused this or is it purely a hardware issue that needs to be sent in for repairs?

Given that there is very little USB code in Rockbox (all we do is detect a USB connection) it's likely not a Rockbox issue.

What happens if you manually reset your iPod and put it into disk mode ?

Ok, I got it to recognize but only when I boot the Ipod under the apple firmware. Should I just reinstall the build?

Well it won't hurt - but I don't see how it'll help either - as I said, Rockbox doesn't have any USB code - we use the USB code provided in the apple firmware...

Hmm... Oh well~ Atleast I can still access the ipod under the apple firmware then just reboot back into rockbox. Thanks for helping ^ ^b

It's either that or put the iPod into disk mode before connecting to USB.
