USB Connectivity Issues
Febs:
I have merged two related threads because they appear to have the same issue.
Note: both of these threads relate to unsupported builds. Ordinarily, ALL questions relating to unsupported builds should be in the thread for that unsupported build.
Both ccase2k and hub138 can try these steps:
1. Put the iPod into disk mode before plugging it in to USB. Alternately, start the original Apple firmware before plugging into USB.
2. Try a different USB cable and USB port. If you are connecting via a hub, trying connecting to USB without the hub (i.e., directly into one of the USB ports on the computer).
3. If you're using Windows, run Computer Management --> Disk Management and make sure your iPod is being assigned a drive letter.
4. If you have iTunes installed on your computer, make sure that you have enabled the option to use your iPod as a disk drive.
ccase2k:
Ahhh oh thanks Febs. I did try the dual boot as described and it worked. :) Thanks alot buddy :D
hub138:
oohhkay...

but thanks for the suggestions guys....
MozyMan:
just so you know, in EvilG's Full Fusion Build, he has included a patch which switches round the whols USB Connectivity thing. So instead of holding Menu to charge it, you Menu when you want to access disk mode. this patch isn't in the lite version though kk
