iPod Nano 1st Gen 2GB help!

I have the above mentioned iPod and i'm trying to put videos on it.

all my videos are in .mpeg or .mpg format(not sure if they make a difference) but some plays and others don't.

if anyone has experienced this problem or knows how to solve it please help

You need to follow the instructions in the wiki for converting them properly, otherwise they may not be in the right format.

It's the PluginMpegplayer page, you can type that into the go bar in the wiki.

I have the same problem
but i dont know how to convert my videos
i have mediacoder and i followed the wiki
but when the video is converted only the audio plays
can anyone clear this up? or give steps to convert
my videos?

Usually this means you haven't picked a valid framerate.
