Screen goes black when trying to view videos (was: MOVIES HELP)

Since he has the same problem with the sample videos, I don't think encoding is his problem.

I'm having the same problem with my h340. The screen goes black and displays "*PANIC* Stkov main"; I'm using the current build, trying to watch elephant's dream.

AFAIK that's a known issue with the h3x0. Quoted from another thread:
