Brian Eno Software
« on: June 15, 2007, 08:15:05 AM »
Hi Rockbox people
I just bought some new graphics & sound software by Brian Eno, "77 Million Paintings" and it mentions in the handbook that you can install it on an iPod... I'm running rockbox on an iriver H340...
Would it be possible to install the software, and how do I do it?
Cheers
Nick

I doubt very much that you could installit under Rockbox, but you could boot into the apple firmware to do it.

As to how... well, doesn't the handbook say?

I've locked the thread because I don't think this is really Rockbox related...

My bad (see Markun's comment). I must have actually NOT read that post at all ;)

No, you can't run programs for the apple firmware in rockbox, or on a player which is not an ipod.

However, that makes it even more unlikely to run. According to the Apple site (http://www.apple.com/pro/profiles/eno/index2.html), it's a Macromedia 'piece', so no, it won't run on any Rockboxed player.
