yes i read the manual i used the bootloader and when i eject my ipod i get a black screen with the following text:

IPod version:  0x000c0006

Error!
Can't load Rockbox. ipod:
File not found
Hold Menu+selectto
reboot then SeleCT+Play for disk mode

You installed the bootloader, but not rockbox.  Follow the instructions on the screen to boot into disk mode, then resume the install process where you left off.
