Picture viewer improvements?
« on: June 12, 2007, 10:26:46 AM »
Only small things, but I think they should be quite easy to change. I will have a look at the code myself later and try to do it.

Fit to screen (keeping aspect ratio) - since most images when you load them are 1/4 size of the screen centered in the middle.

Rotate screen. Cant remember if someone already asked about this, but would be nice for gigabeat targets

Select (center of touchpad on gigabeat) could be used to toggle navigation around a zoomed in picture vs file navigation.
There may be a better way of doing this - but in slideshow mode for example, having each image using a tiny part of the screen means you have to set the timer longer, so you can zoom in between pictures.

Also, O/T but file size would be very nice in the file viewer...

The forums are not the place for feature requests.
