Disk tidy error

I start the disktidy plugin but after a bit it returns an error.
I know this has been raised as a problem before

It seemed that this thread dealt with the problem but I'm still getting the same errors. Any reason?

That problem was never really fixed. So the limit of 8 nested directories still applies.
