[H100] Will a short-circuit in the remote do harm to the unit?

(1/1)

Snowman:
I'm wondering the following but didn't try it out for understandable reasons ;) maybe there's someone who already experienced that or someone who can tell from the point of hardware design itself what is going to happen...

Let's say I'm at a concert recording the show with my h120 and using the remote for level checking and such stuff, and the remote suddenly gets wet (by rain, or some retard throwing a pint of beer around, or whatever...) - will the main unit get damaged by a short in the remote or will it continue to work/run as if nothing happened?

samamanjaro:
No, it shouldnt, because the power is coming from the device into the plug, not the other way around. Should be good, if you let the remote dry fully, that will be good too.
