Help: Where to put videos in .rockbox folder
awesomeo4000:
If you know where to put the videos in order for them to show up in the menu or whatever please tell me also don't link to the page for the mpegplayer because ive looked and cant find anything on it
safetydan:
Generally you don't put your own files under .rockbox. If you've got movies you want to put on your player, just put them somewhere in the root (i.e. your e:/ or whatever drive letter Windows gives it, assuming you're using windows). Or you could create a folder called 'movies' (e.g. e:/movies) and put your movies there.

thanks but the video doesnt fit and it plays about twice normal speed :P
safetydan:
Check that you have the Limit FPS option turned on (and Skip frames as well). You can find out more at the MPEG player wiki page (http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/PluginMpegplayer) or in the Rockbox manual.
When you say that the movies don't fit, I assume you mean they don't fill the screen? You need to encode the movies for your screen size. More information is on that wiki page above.

use WinFF , type your screen size, set it to mpeg 2 then jus convert it
