Switching between Rockbox and original iPod firmware constantly...

Just checking... if I'm constantly switching between the original iPod setting and the Rockbox setting, is it bad for the Pod?

I switch almost daily in order to utilize the TV-out on my 5G to play cartoons for my son on a Philips DCP850. It causes 0 issues. (As an adder, I must recommend the DCP850 as it is really a nice machine for the price)
