WMA-DRM playback
Sudiro:
Hi guys,
Sorry about being such a newb but I need to know will installing rockbox on a sansa e200 permanently cripple its WMA-DRM playback capabilities in any way? Also, does installing rockbox give the player ability to play other formats eg. vorbis, flac?
Thanks a bundle

You can see a list of supported codecs here:
http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/SoundCodecs#Current_status
Note that WMA is not (yet) functional, although you can still play WMA(-DRM) files in the retail firmware. WMA-DRM will be supported in Rockbox around the same time hell freezes over.
In the future, only post install questions in the install forum.

Might be worth removing the DRM [moderator's note: Rockbox Forum policy prohibits discussion of removal of DRM].
Just be warned this might not be legal in some countries (ie USA), but for most others it is.
Good idea to just avoid DRM in future :)
Walrus:
Heh...I can't believe people actually pay for files with DRM. Oh well...

It's also against the Rockbox forum rules to talk about it - please remove it from your post!
