iriver h120 sleep mode possibility?

i want my iriver h120 to stay awake like ipods.

so when i hit the button it works right away.

is it possible with any hardware mod?

if my ihp-120 can do sleep mode i will love my ihp more

If you flash Rockbox to ROM, it boots so quickly that you don't even need sleep mode.

But no, I don't know of any way to do this, other than setting Rockbox so that it leaves the H120 on, but that would be at the expense of battery life.
