the ipodpatcher will not recognize my 1st gen iPod Nano

i have downloaded the bootloader and the file is listed on my ipod now in a file called .rockbox as it should be but the ipodpatcher will not recognize my ipod and it is in disk mode it was configured through itunes on XP. HELP ME!!!!

I have a 1st gen ipod nano, I have installed the Firmware onto my ipod and the ocrrect folder is listed on my ipod. When i run the Boot loader is says no ipods found. I have my ipod in diskmode as the instalation tells me to. any ideas why it is not recognizing my ipod??

of course i am. it's silver metal on the back and black plastic on the front. do you have any ideas??

Try it again with a freshly downloaded ipodpatcher (from today I mean!) - linuxstb made some changes to the detection code in the last couple of days that might sort you out

That won't help - the official binaries haven't been updated yet.

If as he sayes he used I tunes, I don't think The new ipodpatcher will help
The detection simply expands the detection method to cover ipods not restored using itunes, but using some third party format tool.
