Jukebox Recorder Dead?

Hi All,
I have a faithfull jukebox recorder version 2 that I have been using for years. Recently I left it connected to my laptop as I was transferring a big file from the laptop to the JBR. When I came back a few hours later, both were powered off. The laptop seems fine, but I cannot get the JBR to respond, won't power on at all. Left it connected to the dc adaptor and it seems to get warm, but still won't start.
Any suggestions?

Is there some kind of reset button/ botton combination?
If not, I'd take the battery out and check if it's okay.
I don't own a recorder, so I can't really help you.

Aha, opened her up and blew out the dust and grass clippings (I use it while mowing the lawn) and she works just fine again.
