Patched Plugins wont show
« on: June 06, 2007, 06:58:27 PM »
I've patched three plugins for my e200. I've used the scrollwheel patch for bubbles, FS#7067 which is the calendar button map for sansa (rockcalendar doesnt seem to be synced), and FS#5927 (id3v1 tag editor). The bubbles patch works fine. The calendar came in a diff so i patched it, that went fine. And the Id3 editor came in .c like bubbles so i just added it to my plugins. Now whenever i go to my plugin index the ID3 editor and the calendar dont show up, but the bubbles scroll wheel does work. Is there any way to use those other two?

For the calendar you need to add calendar.c to SOURCES file in the apps/plugins folder.
I am guessing the ID3 tag editor to be the same problem.

I'm not an expert, but I believe that the makefile consults SOURCES for which source files to compile and link.  If you run "make" but have not added any new files to the SOURCES file then they will not get compiled at that time.  It sounds like this is what's going on.
