If you're THAT close to our venue - can you recommend a pub ? (Must serve Guinness or linuxstb is going to shoot me).

I'm up for this as well, long time user though this is one of my first posts here. I work at White City but know the Holborn area fairly well if people are stuck for ideas on where to go.

So long as we don't end up in the Griffin I think it'll be cool (Febs is bringing his wife - wouldn't be a good choice unless she's very liberally minded!)

Okay - I've failed spectacularly to do any sort of visit to Holborn to find a decent a pub to start in - so I suggest we just go to Feb's hotel and go from there.

Works for me.  Let me know what time you want to meet.

There are plenty of pubs in the immediate vicinity of my hotel, though they definitely seem to cater to the tourist crowd, which I think linuxstb wanted to avoid.
