Sansa: Screen whitening bug still not completely fixed (?)
Vortex:
I want to ask 2 question before trying this:
1. Do I have to uninstall the old bootloader first or can I simply install the new one over the old one with the command you posted?
2. Can I revert to my old bootloader (the one that came with sansapatcher) if the new version causes some kind of trouble?
By the way, the screen whitening happend a second time today, while I was on the bus.
mschneider:
The newer version should not cause any trouble. But if it does just download another version of sansapatcher and install that bootloader. You will have to remove your older bootloader but its very easy to do with sansapatcher, then you can install the newer one.
p.s. thanks for the newer bootloader jdgordon ;)
Llorean:
You don't need to remove the older bootloader, telling sansapatcher to add the new one should overwrite it.
You also shouldn't need to download more than one sansapatcher. If the mi4 that jdgordon has provided doesn't work, just run sansapatcher the way the manual describes instead of using it to add the mi4, and it'll install the official bootloader over the modified one.
Vortex:
I installed the new bootloader. Let's see if it fixes the problem... ;)
mbbda:
Where do you get the PP5022.mi4.bin file from?
