Sansa: Screen whitening bug still not completely fixed (?)

I've applied the new bootloader and updated to the latest Rockbox branch (cpchan). I still have the screen whitening problem, my player is a e280. It will be so awesome when this bug is finally ironed out though.

cpchan is NOT an official build. Please try it with the SVN version. We can't know what his patches are doing or whether any of them reintroduce the bug.

While nobody knows for sure if the meltdowns are a definite thing of the past, I can tell you that since installing a current build on June 6th from rockbox.org that I have not encountered any meltdowns.

If the meltdowns bother you then I'd suggest going with a current build and holding off on special builds (presumably for WPS reasons) until those have incorporated a newer rockbox base (I'd suggest looking for June 6, or later).  An extra bonus is that you will also have access to your Sansa's radio hardware.

Just wanted to report that I haven't had any screen whitening so far. So the updated BL might have done the trick.

I also updated the Rockbox build several times, though.
