Ok now that Rockbox has made it to the 80gig iPods I celebrated by getting it working and making an all new WPS. Uses the Pies Julius patches.





For some reason the screen dumps came out looking all funky but it looks fine on the player. The obscured line on the WPS is Next and the lines between items in the browser aren't there on the player.

 Since I don't have a Sim compiled that works with the patches these dumps were done the old fashioned way by plugging in the player. If anyone has any ideas how to fix it before I upload this to the Wiki please post here.

Put it up on the Wiki with fixed screendumps. I don't know what happened with the first ones, but the new ones are better.

Also make a non AA version. Would look sweet with just the info in the middle of the screen.

I included the Photoshop .psd file in the zip I put up on the wiki and on rockbox-themes.org so everyone is free to change anything they please. Particularly in the .psd file there is another background already, just got to turn the layer on.

Making a non-AA version would be pretty easy so I'll get that done in the next few days and put it up.

Ok, I spent a bit of time yesterday and tested my old idea to try to get an album art aware theme that will center the info if there is no art and put it where it is in the screen shot.

Now there are three flavors to my theme which I will put up on the wiki: Original, non-AA, and AA aware.

Just so everyone is aware, they all still require the jbuild or the EvilG fusion build.

looks like it was inspired by jclix, but you took it in a new direction; very nice. Not really a big fan of brown, but you make good use of it here. I like how you have different backdrops in the WPS and the browser, yet they compliment each other.

It was inspired by both of the Julius themes. It for sure has elements of both in a sort of mish-mash that I took in my own direction.

And the browser backdrop is the same as the WPS without all vectors on top and just blurred a bit to make stuff readable.

Thanks to you for reorganizing the Wiki. I wouldn't screw up all that work or cause clutter.

I am a big fan of brown and a bigger fan of this WPS.  Thanks for the great work.  The A-A Aware works like a gem.
