Problems: Iriver H10 RockBox R13548; No Dual Boot? WinXP can't sync / see USB?

There is no need to assume. Our manual describes all of the buttons:
--- Quote ---Am I missing any hidden knowledge of voodoo-type manipulations to get my h10 to boot back to iriver firmware. Please, help me.
I sense this problem is experienced by many.
--- End quote ---
This knowledge is not "hidden." The Manual explains how to dual boot:
http://download.rockbox.org/manual/rockbox-h10/rockbox-buildch3.html#x5-240003.1.3
The Manual says to hold the "Prev" button to boot the original firmware. I am not personally familiar with the H10. If the manual is incorrect, as suggested in one of the posts above, then someone should confirm the correct key sequence and file a bug report on our Flyspray tracker so that we can correct the documentation.

You know, over the last week or so I tried to load the original firmware by holding all thinkable&unthinkable combinations of buttons, changing Rockbox's firmware - no result.
Now it leads me to the following question:
Is dual booting a documented feature of iRiver H10? (where is it documented)
Hence, why is the file has to be named OF.mi4 . Is the original bootloader looking for this file when you hold "Prev" during boot-up?
Or is it the case that upon boot-up the control is first passed to the Rockbox firmware, which in turn loads the OF.mi4?
Thanks.

Read my last post.

There was indeed an error in the H10 manual. I have updated it now. You need to hold the Cancel button while booting to load the original firmware. It expects the OF.mi4 file to be present and requires the latest version of the bootloader (from 20-Mar-2007).

Despite the 3 months that have passed since my last post, I still haven't been able to boot to the OF. I changed my firmware to r15275-071023 and still can't boot OF.
1) Can't this be an EEPROM problem as was the case in some other threads on h300?
2)I want to propose that all those who managed to boot h10 into OF describe here the exact sequence of turning the player on and holding whichever buttons they have. I fear that it's not enough to say "hold Cancel while booting", there should be a correct timing. SO please describe what did you press, on which stage of booting, how long you held the button, what screen came up.
I wouldl appreciate beyond measure any contribution.
