Problems: Iriver H10 RockBox R13548; No Dual Boot? WinXP can't sync / see USB?

Dude, you most probably have something borked with your installation...

Here's how I succesfully dualboot into the OF on my H10 5gb :
- I make sure the hold switch is off
- I press the power button and release it
- Half a second after, I press and hold the 'cancel' button (on front, left, below screen)
- The H10 then shows me a 'debug like-screen' with rev. number and such stuff which stays on screen for about 7-8 seconds... I release the cancel button
- Bing! I'm into OF.

Now, let's see how we could get this to work with your device.

Somewhere around may or june of this year, the bootloader and .rockbox binaries have been changed for the H10 devices, which changed a whole lot of small things regarding dualboot like where the files go and such.  --  Is it possible that your version of the files are from before? It used to be you had to 'unscramble' the .mi4 file, which is no-more the case.

What *I* would do is try a complete reinstall. Use iriver's recovery tool to bring the player back to 'like new'. Then follow the instructions in the manual to reinstall rockbox, downloading all the files again to make sure you have the most recent ones.

Of course it sucks to re-do the whole 'copying mp3 to player' and such, but I really believe it's only a small mistake, somewhere in the installation, that's preventing you from booting OF.
