patching fm radio
(1/1)
mschneider:
I'm trying to compile a build using the album art, bmp resize, fm radio, and scrolling margins patch. Earlier i was able to compile a build using just the fm radio patch. I've replaced the source multiple times but whenever i try to re-apply the fm patch to the new source it patches a couple hunks and then says that the patch was already applied. So i add my other patches and create the build-but i get a make error. So next i try removing the FM patch and making again- i get another error. Now i try to re-apply the patch and it says again that the patch has already been applied! what am i doing wrong?

At least two required things are missing for anyone to help you:
What target you are trying to compile
What the make error is
Post both of them and someone will be able to help
mschneider:
ok so i tried patching everything but FM and then making (since it says FM was already patched for some reason). This actually finished the make and then gave me two errors:
make[1]: *** [rocks] error 2
make: *** [build] error 2
my target is a sansa.

well, did patching work or did it give some warnings / error messages? Also, there is always the possibility that you combine patches that are incompatible. In that case your only option is to fix the patches ...
mschneider:
yes patching worked. I actually found out i was using an older version of a scrolling margins patch that was not synced. Thanks for your patience!
