fonts just wont stick.

alright folks.  i read through the posts and i didn't come across this, so im really hoping i didn't miss it cos i'd hate to waste time and board space, buuut...
i read the manual and it says that in order for the font that you're switching to to be 'remembered' everytime you boot the program, you have to put it in your /.rockbox/fonts folder.  'cept umm, i did that, and it isnt working.  it just goes back to the original font everytime.
so, i was wondering whats going on there
incase you need it, im working with a 5th gen ipod video.
please help, thanks a ton!

It could be that the font name is too long. 32 chars is the maximum (and that is excluding the path, and probably the ".fnt" suffix).

a corrupted config.cfg file may be your issue. Get everything setup like you wanted it, then write a config file (menu > settings > manage > write ) . Connect to your PC and look inside .rockbox and delete config.cfg, the file you made should be named config01.cfg so rename it to config.cfg, disconnect and boot up.
