..\..\Library\LP MP3\1-B\Bloodrock\Bloodrock 3\01-Jessica.mp3

for this m3u what is the file path on the player?

tableguy:
What drive letter is your ipod?
H:

When you look at that drive in Explorer, can you see the directory that you copied over?
Yes

I don't understand what you mean by, "the files are not displayed on the Ipod screen."   Start Rockbox and select "Files" from the main menu.  Navigate to that directory.  If the files are visible in Explorer, then they should also be visible in Rockbox's File Browser.  If they are not, check your "Show files" setting under General Settings --> File View --> Show Files and make sure that it is set to "all" or "supported."

When Rockbox starts up:

Rockbox
 Files
 Database
 etc
I scroll to files and press Select

Born
Calendars
etc

I Scroll to Born and press Select

/Born
empty or blank screen

also tried to \Library\Born
same effect
/Library/Born

the status bar on top is there on all screens

Show files and Show Full Path enabled

Not sure if it matters or not, but
in MM there is a Preference option to
force Ipod Stlye Folders  and to
trim after a certain lenght
Tried it both ways with same results
Also unchecked any instances in MM
device-config relating to -this- player.
I have two others. What about a
fresh install of MM?

TIA
Bob

Chronon:
So you're saying that when attached to your PC the files exist at this path:

H:\Born\

Yet when you navigate to that directory from Rockbox there are no files there?

Are you actually copying the directory to your player using Explorer, or are you trying to do some sort of synch using MediaMonkey?

If your problem is trying to synch with Media Monkey, then you should be asking for help on their support forums, because this problem has nothing to do with Rockbox.

If you are copying the files over using Explorer and you're still having trouble, I'm not sure what to tell you because the way you describe the problem is still not making much sense to me.

tableguy:
Requested example, not on player
