How to put music files 0n iPod 80gb Rockbox?

What is the mechanism that Zen used? Was it similar to a stock iPod (proprietary database) or just a standard directory/file setup?
If it uses anything like a standard file-sync process it should work just fine, as a "Rockboxed" iPod is basically just viewed as a USB drive by the OS.
edit: However, if the program detects it as an "iPod" then it may have trouble...most programs that have iPod support would likely create the type of database that the Apple firmware expects. I'd have to defer elsewhere for comment on that, I was never big on Winamp and I never used a non-iTunes program that could create such a database until I used gtkpod.

If using windows look at microsofts sync toy free from microsoft.
Echo mode works well if all changes happen on pc, sync toy will exactly recreate the same files and folders on the player.

i'll try it.
Basically I just want something for making playlists...thats' the one thing programs like iTunes and such are good for, since I really don't know how else to make a long playlist (say for long drives and such) in a reasonable amount of time.
