H120 FM Radio above 108MHz
Datman:
In older builds I have written frequencies above 108MHz in the fmpreset file and radio was tuning to that frequency.
Yesterday I needed to receive a fm signal a little over 108MHz. I have edited the fmpreset file, but radio doesn't go over 108MHz. 108 is the max frequency displayed even if in the file are written frequencies over 108MHz. Â :(
Could be restored as before?
gnu:
I don't think it'll be restored, but you could write a patch yourself and build your own custom rockbox (shouldn't be too hard to raise the maximum frequency to 109 MHz).
Datman:
In older software versions I have listen to 123 Mhz and over...
bluebrother:
Well, this is out of the usual ranges for radio. You can of course modify Rockbox to support those frequencies, but as an average user neither needs nor wants to tune outside of the radio band there is absolutely no reason why Rockbox should support such frequencies.
Feel free to patch Rockbox yourself -- it's like two lines to change (look after the region structure at the beginning of radio.c)

Ok, but it was only a "backdoor" only accessible by a text editor...
