Transferring playlists from my Creative player to iPod/Rockbox

(1/1)

Hello how's it going?

I have a bunch of songs in my Creative Jukebox player. I don't want to transfer the playlists into my Rockboxed iPod, but I would like to know if it's possible to make a text LIST from the playlists in my creative player...save it as some sort of cue sheet or wordpad file, and then transfer it over to rockbox and have rockbox autogenerate a playlist from the cue sheet/notepad list.

I know that sounds kinda confusing but I hope you understand what Im saying :)

stripwax:
What's the difference between "autogenerating a playlist from the text file" and just transferring your playlists directly from the creative jukebox to the ipod?   Isn't a playlist just a list of files anyway?  What would be the difference between your "text LIST" and a regular playlist?

Mine definitely are. A plain text file with one line per file, containing the filename of the song. :)

well the thing is, I can't copy the files directly over, because the ones in my creative player are in mp3. All those albums that are on my creative player have been re-ripped to flac on my PC. I will transfer the flac files over to rockbox but I want to transfer some of them in the playlist order of the ones I have in creative player.
